All round good trophy haul.
Cimac World Champion Greg Darmon took two comfortable gold medals in -75kg continous and -75kg points events finishing one fight with a KO with a tornado kick.
Next up was Sadie Walton taking a 1st place in the womens -65kg points section, was quite a tough round as Team NSBB were contending with good fighters, so her glory was well deserved. She also took a 2nd place in the Adults Creative Weaponry section.
Karen Bailey fought well in the girls Blackbelt cadets section but settled for 3rd place as did sparring partner Zak Ward in the boys blackbelts cadets.
Fighter of the day goes to Mark Frost. Who having just taken his white belt, took a well earned 2nd place in the mens under 80kg points section. Mark who has trained in boxing at Impact Martial Arts Gym, has recently started training in kickboxing also. He was understandably nervous at his first competition, but with coach Greg Darmon in his corner they teamed up well to take some lovely head kicks adding to the brilliant score.
