Impact Gym Sleaford, Kelham Hall Fightnight May

Well what a venue! The Dome it was really good atmosphere too - cheers to all that came and supported our boys..
Well first up - Gregs fighter backed out (obviously heard about that deadly tornado!)so we saved all of our energy for Steves's bout.
Steve stepped up in the ring to the sound of a thousand people from Newark cheering for his opposition, but somehow managed to put this over his head and really brought it home to his condender who upon hearing this was steves first fight, though he had an easy ride. WRONG! Steve stepped up to plate and was obviously the fitter fighter landing a some good crosses and rocking his opponent. Steve took a few shots too and it really was round for round until the 3rd and last where his opponent steamed forward a tad more than our steve and took the fights winner title. Thumbs up to our Steve who's first boxing bout will NOT be forgotten to all that was there.
